For artist and jewelry designer Patti Tapper, creating beautiful things is all about the joy of the creative experience. It all started in her childhood with a box of 64 crayons and a piece of paper, and she hasn’t looked back since. Patti’s degree in Fine arts helped open the doors to a colorful life, and she has a special love of decoration and ornamentation.

“I love combining my passion for painting with other techniques that involve photography, sewing and collage,” Patti says.

The gemstones that Patti uses in her jewelry are chosen for the beauty of their colors, such as pearls in lavender, pink, silver and bronze hues as well as amethyst, citrine, turquoise, onyx, coral, and blue and lemon quartz.

Some of Patti’s most unique creations are delicate bracelets and collars knitted or crocheted using fine sterling silver wire and accented with tiny freshwater pearls in lavender, pink and silver hues.
