Tapper's Diamonds & Fine Jewelry uses the e-mail addresses and other personal information that we gather strictly for marketing purposes and to send e-mails about upcoming events, sales and promotions. We do not sell the names that we gather to any outside companies. The personal information that you have provided to us and information about your order(s) will not be shared with third parties. The information we collect is used to improve the content of our web site, to improve the manner in which we serve our customers, and to inform them of news, events and promotions at our store.
If you supply us with your e-mail address on-line, you may receive e-mails from us in the future, informing you about upcoming promotions or suggesting certain items that we think might interest you. If you do not want to receive e-mails from us, please contact us.
If you supply us with your mailing address on-line, you may receive periodic mailings from us such as our seasonal catalogs. If you do not wish to receive such mailings, please contact us.
Customers who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive a phone call from one of our associates if it directly relates to completing their order. If you do not wish to receive this type of phone call and prefer instead to communicate through e-mail, please contact us.
Appraisals
We are pleased to present you with either a letter of value or a replacement insurance appraisal with your purchase of any fine jewelry or watches at Tapper’s.
For your convenience, we have made arrangements with a trusted, independent certified appraiser and gemologist to handle your appraisal needs for jewelry or watches that were not purchased at Tapper’s, or for jewelry insurance updates. We recommend Birmingham Gemological Services for your appraisal needs. You may contact Birmingham Gemological Services at (248) 644-8828.
Tapper’s customers will receive special pricing on appraisals. In order to identify yourself as a Tapper’s client and secure special pricing, please click here to download a special appraisal referral card to be shown at the time of your appointment.
Gift Wrapping and Gift Cards
Tapper's is pleased to offer complimentary gift wrapping with your purchase, as well as a gift card if you desire. Our signature gift-wrap is elegant and is suitable for any occasion. If you are placing your order by telephone and would like us to include a personalized gift card with your order, please let your sales associate know. We offer cards for many different occasions, so please let us know if your gift is for a special occasion so that we can select the appropriate card. Your message will be handwritten by your assoicate to include with your beautifully-wrapped gift. There is no charge for this service.
Engraving
Many of our items may be engraved with a personalized message, name or monogram for an additional charge. If you would like to have your purchase engraved, please let your sales assoicate know and s/he will inform you of the additional fee.
Pricing Policy
At Tapper's, our goal is to bring you the highest quality in fine jewelry, timepieces and giftware, together with excellent value. As Michigan's premier jeweler, Tapper's has the buying power to offer very competitive prices on such items. We invite you to contact us so that one of our highly trained associates may assist you with your inquiry or purchase. Due to market fluctuations, we are unable to guarantee the price of some special orders and out of stock items. If the price of an item is different from the last advertised price, we will contact you for your approval before proceeding with the transaction.
Payment
Tapper's is pleased to accept the Tapper's signature credit card, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover credit cards.
Return Policy
Most items purchased from Tapper's may be returned in their original condition and packaging , for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Items may either be mailed back to us or brought into our store. Your refund will be credited to your credit card. Certain items, however, may not be returned:
- Personalized items (ie. initial rings, name bracelets, engraved or monogrammed items)
- Special Orders (items that must be ordered in a special size or items that we do not normally stock).
- Watches may only be returned if they are unworn and returned in their original packaging, with all original documentation enclosed.
Please insure your return package against loss in transit. Tapper's can not take responsibility for lost packages, or for receiving packages that are damaged while in transit.
Gift Certificates
