Tapper’s Family Chosen as 2023 ORT Rub-A-Dub Honorees

The Michigan Region of ORT America named the Tapper Family as the distinguished honorees for the 2023 ORT Rub-A-Dub fundraising event. This prestigious recognition is a testament to the Tapper Family's unwavering commitment to ORT's mission and remarkable philanthropic contributions to the community over the past four decades.

Beyond generous donations for more than 40 years, every member of the Tapper Family has actively participated in various ORT events, serving on committees and providing creative input. Steven Tapper was a dedicated member of the Rub-a-Dub Committee for 13 years, including co-chairing the 2010 and 2011 Rub-a-Dub events. Mark Tapper served on the Rub-a-Dub Committee for five years, co-chairing the 2017 Rub-a-Dub event.

The Tapper Family's commitment to ORT extends beyond the organization, as demonstrated by their support for over 40 local charities, with a plaque in their West Bloomfield store that proudly declares, "Community is at the heart of everything we do.”

“The Jewish principle of Tikkun Olam, the duty to repair and heal the world, resonates deeply with our family. It guides our actions daily, motivating us to contribute positively to the betterment of society and the lives of those less fortunate.”
